Episode 008, also known as A Trap, a Song is the eighth episode in the first season of the television series Violetta. It first aired on May 23, 2012, in Latin America, and it was directed by Jorge Nisco and Martín Saban and written by Solange Keoleyan and Sebastián Parrotta.
Overview
After she showed up in an angel costume, Violetta is laughed at by the Studio's students. Leon then brought her home. In an attempt to split Violetta and Tomas up, Ludmila edits the video from her recent conversation with Tomas.
Episode Summary
After everyone makes fun of Violetta for wearing an angel costume, she runs away in tears, but Leon catches up with her and brings her home. Angie tries to hide the fact that Violetta sneaked out from Herman, but the truth comes out when Violetta returns home. The next day, Violetta is still being laughed at by the Studio's students. Ludmila tricks Violetta into thinking that Francesca sent the invitation. Violetta asks Tomas to sign up for the exam to join the Studio. Tomas asks Violetta to do the same, but, still unaware of her singing talent, she declines. Rafa Palmer convinces Tomas to sign up for the exam, saying that dreams always come true at the Studio. Leon and Ludmila break up. Leon reveals to Andres that he wants to be with Violetta. Ludmila decides to split up Violetta and Tomas by showing Violetta a video of the conversation that she and Tomas had. However, she edits the video to make it seem like Tomas was making fun of Violetta. Ludmila sends the video to Violetta. When Violetta watches the video, she gets very upset. Just after she watches the video, Tomas comes to her house. He comes into the kitchen where Violetta is waiting for him. Violetta is still very angry at Tomas and throws a bowl of water at him.
