The relationship between Herman Castillo and Angie Carrará is known as Hermangie (Herman/Angie). It began in the end of sixth season of Violetta.
Relationship History[]
Overview[]
It is clear that the two have feelings for each other even though Herman is engaged to Jade. His feelings for Jade seem to be weaker than those for Angie. The two have confessed to each other that they are in love but are not together.
Angie has been in love with Herman for a long time which is obvious by the way she gets flustered and nervous around him whenever he's near her, while German only starts to fall for Angie when she arrives in his and Violetta's life.
German and Angie officially meet in A Secret, a Song, although it is suspected they have met before at family get-togethers due to their relation to each other. When Violetta comes back to her house, Angie saw her and later on, they start talking about German. German heard it all, and then he met Angie physically. Angie was about to tell the truth of herself to German, but German just thought Angie was the new tutor from the agency and he hired her as Violetta's new tutor. Angie began spending more and more time with German, and began learning his nice side, and why he is protecting Violetta from anything that reminded of Maria. German also began to see how nice, calm, and funny Angie is, but he refuses to admit to Ramallo and/or anyone when they ask about if he is in love with Angie. Angie also refuses to admit to Pablo that she is in love with German, also she knows she can't love German because she is his sister-in-law.
When German breaks up with Jade at the end of the first season, Jade reveals Angies secret. When German finds out Angie is Maria's sister, he is extremely mad at her and takes Jade back as his girlfriend. When he rages at Angie he confesses that he was in love with her. Angie leaves and German engages to Jade. At the day of the wedding, Violetta walks away from home and Angie brings her home only by promising that she would stop the wedding. Angie however breaks her promise at first, but then German forces Angie to try it. Angie confesses that she loved German. German acts like it doesn't matter anymore, but in the end he doesn't marry Jade thinking of what Angie said.
In the second season it looks like things are getting better for German and Angie. But then Esmeralda shows up. She is an actress hired by Jade and Mattias. Angie doesn't trust her and when she tells German this, Esmeralda is eavesdropping. Esmeralda makes Angie leave the Castillo home and takes her place in the family. German and Violetta don't see it that way, which drives Angie away from them. When it is revealed that Esmeralda is an imposter, Angie comforts the shocked Violetta and German. Things seemed to be going well again, until Angie finds out German dresses up as Jeremias the studios pianist. Angie had confided in Jeremias and felt betrayed when she found out the truth. When Angie got an offer to compose in France she took it after Violetta supported her.
Angie returns in season three only to see that German found a new girlfriend and soon fiancé: Priscilla, mother of Ludmilla. Priscilla however had two faces, which Angie knew very soon. She didn't tell German, because when she said that about Esmeralda he didn't believe her either so what was the difference. When German found out that Priscilla pushed Violetta down the stairs, he kicked her out immediately. From that moment on Angie and German grew closer, bit it was never as before. It was more serious. After the concert in one of the final episodes, German proposes and Angie says yes. In the very last episode their wedding takes place.

Episode - The Germangie episode is episode 23, when Ramallo asked Herman how would he imagine his wedding with Jade. But actually, Herman imagined his wedding with Angie, not with Jade.
Color - The Germangie color might be blue because Angie has blue eyes and Herman usually wears a blue shirt.
Place - The Germangie place is the Castillo house because they spend all the time together in the house and they both live in it. The On Beat Studio could be another Germangie place because that is where Angie kisses Herman when she does not want him to see Violetta.
